Where is the Best Mexican Food in Tucson, Arizona?

I enjoy the drinks but I’m not to fond of the style of Mexican Food here. It’s a great place to meet people for drinks and meeting but I prefer not to eat there. The portions can be too small when you want to eat a huge mexican meal. They never fill up your chips as much as other places do.

I just returned back from my first visit to Tucson. El Guero Canelo was one of the places that I had researched to try – in attempts of experiencing some of the local food. As much as I tried not to hype up the visit to El Guero Canelo, I couldn’t help it – especially since my girlfriend and I enjoy hot dogs much more than the average person. The Sonoran hot dogs were incredibly tasty. Every bite was simply divine and beyond enjoyable. The Mexican Coca-Cola was also a nice taste. Additionally I tried the bottled sangria (but didn’t realize that it was non-alcoholic) and had a bite of a soft taco, which was also very tasty. This is a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and enjoy something savory. If I find myself back in Tucson in the future, you better believe that I’ll find myself back at El Guero Canelo!Pros + Taste of food and value of food for the moneyCons – Parking lot was full

I have lived in tucson for over 30 years .I remember coming to crossroads as a kid with my family my dad would pull up to the drive thru. And me and my cousins would run around the parking lot playing (not reccomended anymore) .Over the years crossroads has been a tucson staple. For anyone who knows restaruants come and go very quickly they offer no gimmicks just great food at a reasonable price. Mexican food is very common on fourth ave.But when a restaruant has around since the ninteen thirtys they must be doing something right .I eat out alot and when it comes to mexican food done right everytime crossroads is the place to go friendly service, consistant food, adds to crossroads charm. Everything from a business lunch to a romantic dinner crossroads .is the place to go.I highly reccomend this restaruant they really take pride in what they serve from certified angus beef carne asada to home made flan dessert made by the owner herself try it all you will not be dissapointed.Pros + qui
