Popular bar, happy hour prices encourage the crowd to enjoy a few of “the best margaritas in Jacksonville Beach”.Best appetizer was the chorizo con queso, and the highly recommended fish tacos were very good (ask for the hot sauce, a blend of mano and hot peppers)Pros + fun atmosphere, good serviceCons – limited parking

If you’ve never eaten mexican food any where outside of Florida, then I guess you could say it’s the best. But the best compared to what…Taco Bell??? The food is a mediocre attempt at “authentic” mexican food. It is pre-made and don’t ask to omit anything in the dis because you will still get the exact menu item. 2 of our 4 orders were incorrect and 1 was forgotten. Stay away from their attempt at “Fried Ice Cream”…HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Do not bother to leave a tip on the table unless you are prepared to pay your bill in cash as they apparently add a whopping 20% tip to your credit card charge, no matter what you put on the receipt. 20%??? They’re not THAT good! For real mexican food in the U.S you need to fly to Texas, New Mexico, or California, then come back and review La Nopolera.Cons – Pre-Made food, Cannot omit items, Automatic 20% tip?!?!

I love Tijuana Flats, the menu is good, employees are fun to deal with, and the food is GREAT! I have never had anything that I have not liked from the menu with the exception of the suicidal sauces they have. Other than those I would eat there any day given the chance without hesitation. If you like Mexican Style food you have got to try Tijuana Flats.

This is a place where you go to get a fast, hot, simple and delicious Mexican meal without fighting the crowds at the trendier spots or sitting in a drive through. Everything is cooked fresh and is more on the Mexican side of “Tex-Mex” but you won’t find anything strange here. It’s comfort food, really. Kids like it, vegetarians like it, and it’s great for families.Pros + Fresh & hot (temp)Cons – crowded at lunch

This place had plain food. The chips tasted of that of a storebrand tostios and, not warm or fresh. The salsa was no good either, they would have been better putting some Pace on the table to eat from. When you ask for cheese dip for your chips, generally, you would expect the white cheese… not NACHO cheese! The food was way below my expectation of this place based on other people’s reviews and led me to believe that Jacksonville didn’t know what good mexican food was. I know that I could’ve made a better mexican dish at home than I had here! The inside is nice and the atmosphere is good. So, if you just wanted to go for a margarita and no food. Then you should be okay. But I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! The service wasn’t even that great either.Pros + Nice facilityCons – Everything else
