Where is the Best Mexican Food in Dallas, Texas?
Great new restaurant for North Dallas. They just opened this one as well as one off Parker and 75. I have only been to the Rosemeade and George Bush location so far. When you walk in there is a nice hostess area and we were warmly greeted and after waiting just a moment for them to finish clearing a table, we were seated in the main dining area. There is a large covered patio in the back that looked like it would be a good place to sit had it not been quite to hot outside. Our waitress was nice and we were surprised to see a wall of beer taps. I rarity in Mexican food places and good to know about but I was in the mood for a margarita so I ordered a frozen margarita. It was good, nothing too amazing, but for me frozen margaritas usually only have two classes good and bad and this was good. I really liked their chips. They are a little bit thicker than some restaurants which I liked. They came with a red salsa that reminded me a lot of Chuy’s. We ordered the Ceviche with shrimp to start
If you like your margaritas made the real way and plenty strong, but don’t want to pay a premium for them, this is the place to go! Fresh tasting with quality tequila and not for the weak, but still under $7. Ceviche is always fresh, made with plenty of tomato, cilantro and that extra squeeze of lime. Eat with chips or crackers and for a small eater like me, it’s a meal in itself.
