Where is the Best Mexican Food in Buffalo, New York?
Lots of people I have spoken to really like this northeastern restaurant chain, and think their Mexican cuisine is wonderful. Most of what I have eaten here though is just sub-par. Their beans and mexican rice, two fundamentals of any Mexican restaurant, are not palatable at all and they have no sense of the enchilada. A positive is that their tortilla soup is VERY nice however…My theory is that Don Pablo’s prospers in areas where there is a dearth of good Mexican cuisine because it stands out as a tolerable example in those areas. But if you want a better Mexican restaurant, my windmill for this area is Coyote Cafe in Hamburg.Pros + Tortilla soupCons – pricey for Mexican, unyummy except soup
