Where is the Best Mens Clothing in Portland, Oregon?
Although sometimes I never get a welcome greeting, I enjoy coming to Local 35 when I want to find something unique to wear or a nice pair of Nudie jeans. Unique not as in eclectic, but unique as in a mixture of simple, sophisticated, and fun clothing. Brands like BoxFresh, ALife, Nudie, Yoko Deveraux, and Umbro are among my favorite brands. I absolutely love the sales, and out of all the boutiques I have shopped at in Portland, Local 35 is generous when it comes to their sales. I always get updated on upcoming events, and I enjoy saving extra money simply because I read an email they sent to me. One time, I received 80% off a pair of shoes because of this! If Local 35 started selling G Star, it would become my favorite boutique in Oregon! Pros + Worthwhile pieces, frequent sales, carrys brands unavailable at other Portland boutiques.Cons – Price
Actually saw the barber pole outside and went in to check it out. Turns out it’s a high end clothing store with a “club room” in back with a barber shop, massage chairs and TV. They offered me a shot of single malt scotch and I was hooked. Ended up buying some custom suits and shirts. I then filled my casual needs with a couple of the nicest sweaters and pants I’ve ever owned. Nice, friendly and gave me a real education on the merits of quality clothing. Very reasonably priced compared to the so called designer stores.Pros + Fun atmosphere, knowledgeable people, and colorful selections.Cons – none
After just getting divorced, I was determined to go out and do something for myself- so I did! I went and got permanent eyeliner and eyelash extensions, and then I went shopping at here and got a a bundle of gorgeous new clothes! The people were so friendly, helpful, and honest. They even talked me out of getting a few things because they looked terrible on me. I didn’t feel like they were being pushy to make a sale at all. I have gotten nothing but compliments from my new look; thanks so much Mario’s!Pros + Beautiful ClothingCons – Expensive, but it’s the best.
The minute I walked in to Blake, I knew I would walk out with the perfect jeans. If there were a reality show called “hunt for the perfect jeans”, Blake would be the host. For a half an hour, he focused all of his fun-loving energy on fitting my not-so-perfect figure into the perfect jeans for me. I paid over $100 and worked up a sweat trying on so many pairs, but I am so satisfied that I don’t care. He wasn’t afraid to tell me when a pair made me look fat, and he took the fit of my jeans even more seriously than me- which is very serious! There is no comparison. Pros + customer service, selectionCons – parking, price
I think it is so great to have a store nearby that has style. I had been searching for such a store outside of the center of downtown for a very long time. The staff and owners are very friendly, helpful, and definitely not pushy. They even offer you a bottle of water free of charge while you take your time to look around. Once a shirt I had purchased there got messed up at the drycleaners, I let them know about it and right away they replaced it with no questions asked… I have never received such great service in a clothing store before…of course this isn’t just any ordanary clothes store either… I try to buy something there at least once a month and I have been given many compliments not to mention a lot of extra attention from my girl since becoming a customer. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends and I look forward to my next visit.Pros + Service, choices, styleCons – Parking
