Where is the Best Massage in Austin, Texas?

I have a herniated disc and was in pain most of the time. Nonetheless, a friend recommended Mauro for a massage and to my suprise I eventually started to feel better. I have been using Mauro for a year now and his massages are so relaxing and his stretches are great. At first, I was a little nervous due to my disc pain but he knew how to work the tender areas and always had a geniune concern for me. Another great compliment to Mauro is his massage experience and his ability to have conversations with his clients. He is so approachable and you feel comfortable immediately. Lastly, I used another massage therapist once because Mauro was booked (he gets booked fast) and there was a huge difference in technique/ability so I vowed to never make that mistake again especially with a herniated disc condition. Although Mauro’s prices are little higher, he is worth every cent. Alright people, if you want the best massage in Austin, try Mauro!!!Thank you Mauro,Michael

I went to try Myo because of the reviews, and I was pleased. I typically go to a day spa, but it has a high turnover rate due to its prices, and I get tired of always having to switch therapists. Myo was not what I was expecting. It does not aim for the posh, indulgent atmosphere of a day spa, which I kind of missed. Like they say, it is more of a bodywork center. There are no fancy locker rooms, etc., or people wandering all about in robes, like I am used to. You undress/change in the room where you receive the massage, before the therapist enters. One of the cool things, though, is the opportunity to select your own music during treatment. It may sound like a small thing, but I thought it was really neat, particuarly since ocean waves and new age music don’t really relax me. I had a 90 min. massage with Gina to address some tightness in my shoulder and knee from playing tennis. It was not a simple massage, but rather a very therapeutic form of treatment – she really focused

In an effort to make me happy, the schedulers often ask me when I would like to come and somehow make it happen at the last minute. This translates to some pretty tense and rushed staff members trying to get me through an already full schedule. I wish they front desk would be more realistic and say, “Hey, we are full, come in next week”. I could easily handle that. The ultimate result, though was that my color and cut looked great..but I felt sort of “violated” by the rush rush of the service and the fast intense energy of the colorist and stylist. BUT , YES, I got compliments afterwards from folks about my hair as usual.Pros + quality color and cutsCons – taking on too many clients?

After years of coloring my own hair to save money, only to have the new color fade quickly to reveal my gray hair, I decided finally to consult a professional. I met with Oksana to discuss what look would best suit my needs. She was very careful and discussed color options with me before proceeding. Once we agreed on a color I sat back to a enjoy a relaxing visit in this salon’s beautiful, sleek and clean surroundings, as Oksana worked on my hair. Once the coloring was completed I was treated to an invigorating head massage, shampoo and rinse. As Oksana dried my hair the true color revealed itself. It was perfect! So natural and youthful. It really complimented my skin tone and eyes. Next, she recommended a cut to suit my face and style. Again – success! Oksana used high quality products on my hair. The color lasted so long. It was silly of me to think I was saving money before since I had to recolor my hair so often with cheap, over-the-counter products. Oksana also recommended a hai

I was just at the salon for a wedding I was a attending for my cousin. The bride, her mother, mother of the groom, other cousins, maid of honor, matron of honor, bridesmaids and other family members were all here. There was whispering among us, bad past history, crys of sadness, crying of joy and the salon actually helped us keep an even keel. They were very zen if you would say. I felt tacky for the way I was acting and they created a very safe environment for me. They listened and then gave support and love for us all. Very strange experience for me. Not gossipy or belittleing. Just reminding us that family is all we have …….for better or worse. Forgive and comfort. Well, there was one typical stylist telling us of her drama and problems with boys. All about her, while she coughed up a lung. Well everyone did excellent bridal hair. I mean excellent. We had fits and bad comments about each other and the salon swooped in and got involved and “fixed” our issues. The
