Reservations are a must! We were able to call that day and get reservations for later that night. Parking is confusing if you are not from Portland, but you can validate your ticket at PCG. Overall, great meal, great service, fun night out! Views from the 30th floor are outstanding!Pros + great food, great serviceCons – very dark inside, loud

Ok, here is my first review when I had a good experience: I really liked this place. The happy hour apps are nice and the drinks are tasty. The bartender guy (Jason maybe?) is really nice and I really enjoyed everything. I thought the sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy. They were nice and hot and served with a perfect dipping sauce. The “spicy” caesar is really good too. I would definitely go back to this place. It’s not like many places in Portland where the servers ignore you and expect 20%. This place is more “normal” in that regard. Check it out!Ok, now here is another review that I would like to share with you since I went there again and the experience was quite different: I went there with some friends late at night, and even though we ordered food when they were slowing down, it took forever. Also, we could never find our server to get more drinks. When someone came to our table, we tried to order a drink but he said that he doesn’t take drink orders because he’s not a s

this place is very classy, but a little sleepy. We met here for cocktails pre-dinner, so can’t comment on the food, but it looked like it would be very good, though a little pricey. The cocktails were well prepared and they have a nice wine list.

This was my first time going out in 5 years, and I was extremely lucky to stumble across The Fez. The people at the door were great, and very through in checking ID’s. The music was great, you couldn’t help but dance to every song, the drinks were good, and not too spendy. It was constantly being cleaned and tidied up, and the bar downstairs was nice and calm. It was definitely crowded, but everyone gave each other room to dance, and if you bumped into someone, it was no big deal. There were plenty of comfortable places to sit down and rest, or just chill out and watch the fun dancing go on. All I can say is that I had a blast and I can’t wait to go again. I also recommended the Annex down the street, a nice place to start your evening.Pros + Not a Meat Market, Fun People, Great dancingCons – ummm, mmmmm, mmmm nope!

I really thought the food was great. It seems very inventive and freshly original. Even items that I don’t particularly like (like beets) were good in the preparation. No complaints there. I ate all of my hen (?) and wanted another one! The rest of my party really enjoyed their burgers. They say they are the best burgers in town. Now, as far as the service, that’s another thing. I’m not saying that the service is bad. What I’m saying is that there was no warmth. I don’t think she ever smiled at us or really looked as us. It was just kinda blah, like robotic. If the table gets cleared and nothing goes wrong, then I guess it’s okay. I just feel like the experience would have been much more top notch had the server acted like she wanted to be there. I do have to mention though, there was a guy bartender who I asked for a taste of something. He was really friendly and excited about telling me about the product. Maybe I should sit at the bar next time.Pros + Really interesting and go
