Where is the Best Martini in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
Went here couple of times. One time it was not even half full, barely anyone there. Great music though!!!Another time it was too packed, no room to dance nor sit. Still, great music but no room. Some girl got trashed, threw up everywhere and touched me with her gross hands :OOO. it was awful. Trendy but small place. They need to remove the tables after music starts so they can make it more dance-club-like. Pros + Good DJ, old school+new school+hip hop remixedCons – severs in the bathroom creep me out, parking, line to go in is way long
The late night atmosphere that we did not even know existed there, was far more pleasing than our dinner. The food wasn?t horrible, just not great. Combine that with a rude host, a ditsy waitress and small portions and you can see where I?m coming from. To be specific, the tuna was very good while everything else was pretty much mediocre. The sea-bass was an absolute joke. It would have taken three of them to fill you up. On a more positive note, we had a very good time the rest of the night just hanging out (like I was 22 again). Good music, good drinks and a just very good, laid-back but party atmosphere. The people seemed very fun yet easy going and that is hard to find in old city these days. Would not go there again for dinner but will definitely be back the next chance I get to sneak out for a drink. P.S. If you do get there and are not having a good time, go outside and hang with the bouncers. Honestly the nicest guys in the world. To give you a quick example, my hus
I really enjoyed the service at Derek’s. We went 2/15/08. The waitstaff was wonderful the food was great!! The only downside was the owner Derek. My guest ” who happens to be named Derek” introduced himself to”Derek”, unfortunately the owner was more interested in talking to a waiter, when my friend introduced me, it was like he was more interested in having his conversation. First impressions are really important to the consumer, if you are having a conversation, take the five minutes to speak with the people that just spent money in your establishment. My family and friends are always looking for a nice restaurant for birthdays and celebrations.(by the way the conversation did NOT seem to be of a business matter). All in all I will come back to your restaurant, the food was very good.Pros + Great AmbienceCons – Parking
