Where is the Best Martini in Kansas City, Missouri?

I went to ReVerse after hearing about its design and “cool” scene. I had to double check the address and name because my experience was anything but memorable and hip. There were five tables total in the place and it took FOREVER to get our drinks not to mention food, which by the time the food arrived we weren’t that thrilled. Presentation was sub-par and the decor is dated. NY style and beatnik feel? What? Would not go back.Cons – Service SLOW, Too much hype, Bathrooms need update

I had no problem with the crowds. It did have noise, but some people like that. There wasn’t a problem with hearing anyone in your party. Yes I did have to wait, but there are so many people its fun to people watch while you wait. You can order half portions, but I’m not complaining when I get to take home a nice dinner for later. The food was great and the service was just as good. The number of people and level of noise on the inside doesn’t make it very romantic. If that’s what you are looking for then you should ask to be seated outside and away from the main doors. After I read some of the reviews on the service I’d like to point out that it’s a very busy and very big place. Your waitress is only human and can have a bad day too.Pros + Lively atmosphere, great food, good drinksCons – Noise, many people, waiting for a table

We visited in Sept. 2006 to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I made a reservation and requested the back room. I was really glad we did this because on a busy Friday night, we wouldn’t have been able to hear each other talk elsewhere in the restaurant. The food was okay, but not worth the prices. We ordered an appetizer but our otherwise attentive waiter forgot to bring it out. They did bring me a single, long-stem, red rose to commemorate our special occasion, which I thought was a nice touch.I really recommend splurging to get a Stoli, which is their pineapple-infused Martini that they shake right at the table for you.Pros + Ambience, ServiceCons – Overpriced, Stuffy

You’ll find a DJ, a line outside (on busy Saturday nights) and a typical club setting to dance the night away. It’s a pretty eclectic crowd…

This is a classic cigar/martini/scotch bar.If only the management knew it!The places screams for cool jazz but instead trendy, hip hop BLARES during most of the day.Instead of the young and middle-aged professionals who used to spend a lot of cash on good cigars and single malt, you now find 20-somethings who usually are working or out-of-work from some other bar.Pros + bartenders, Ambiance, PatioCons – , Bad Music, Clientele
