Mercury is a great place to start the night. The music is pretty good, the bartenders downstairs are great and quick, and the crowd looks good and is friendly. Considering the competition (none) – this is a GREAT place for Cleveland.Pros + Music, Good Martinis

You get the kind of service as if the owners are actually there. Guess what! They are! The food is great and I always have fun. It is hard to say that about most places. Lots of martinis and good jokes.

I walked in and found this place to be very hip… Nothing (that I know of) like this on the East Side. In any case, I got there at midnight on a Saturday, and it really wasn’t busy at all. There was room at the bar, but I sat on a couch, checking out some of the females. At this point, everything was going well, until about 1am when guy after guy after guy poured in. Maybe it was just the night I was there, but I hope it isn’t a regular thing!Pros + Cool Atmosphere, ReasonableDress Code, Air ConditionedCons – Poor Guy/Girl Ratio, No Dancing

Food is way below average – several times have had cold (ie frozen!) wings and cold soups. Several items returned as not prepared properly (well done hamburgers brought out rare). Turnover of personnel appears to be a big problem here. We are lcoals and have visited regularly only to have a different server everyt ime almost. Some are good but they move onto better places. Food way below average, high priced beers and poor overall service.

I usually go to Harpo’s Brook Park but have been to the Strongsville one alot, it’s closer to my new house. I brought the family & they all enjoyed it! The kids spent hours in the game room while I watched 10 different baseball & 4 NHL games, a nightime NASCAR race & at least 5 other events all at the same time. WOW!!! Food was awesome–and reasonable prices. Karen the manager made a point of introducing herself–how rare is that today?? Service was better than in some fancy schmancy places and any other sports bar. My wife even goes there by herself or to meet friends–it’s comfortable for single women, too. Harpo’s has the BEST and BIGGEST WINGS! I love their BBQ ribs and my wife raved about the Chicken Caesar Salad. I hear the new Harpo’s at Brookgate Shopping Center will be even better yet–I can’t wait!Pros + Great service & mgmnt, Exclnt food/portions, Family friendlyCons – Parking lot too small, No reservations, No Miller Lite on tap
