Where is the Best Martini in Cleveland, Ohio?
London, Venice, Paris. This is where you would have to go to find anything like the Tango Room. The first time you walk in you feel transported back in time. A time where gentelman did not need to be reminded to remove their hats upon entering a room. Where tuxedos and long black gloves don’t look the least bit out of place. And where you can order a Rob Roy, Sidecar, Ramos Gin Fiz, or Lady in Red and not have the bartender stare at you with a blank look and ask you if there is any RedBull in that. Every drink is made from scratch. If you order a sour you get egg white, fresh squeezed juice and it is shaken until it is blended to perfection. Would you wait 5 minutes for a drink anywhere else? At the Tango Room the art of blending a drink perfectly is a show in itself. The first time you visit sit at the bar and just watch the bartenders work. It is as fascinating as wathching an artist create a painting out of a blank canvas. The lights stay low, the conversation is private
This place has really gone down hill since the first time I was here a couple years ago, before I moved to Cleveland. It used to be a cool, trendy place to go with a diverse crowd where everyone was just there to dance and have a good time. But I went just recently and won’t be back anytime soon unless things change. The service was ok but nothing special, but was worse was the crowd of people there. I was purposely ran into, called names, and even had a few racy remarks thrown at me! I was totally shocked, I’ve never experienced that in any other Warehouse District bar/club. It seemed as if you weren’t dressed like you just came from watching James and the Cavs play and wearing 10 gold chains, you weren’t welcome there and were certainly made to feel that way. Definately a very thuggish crowd like someone mentioned below.Pros + Good music, ok service, nice atmosphereCons – thuggish crowd, rude crowd
We always have a good experience and enjoyable time at RRBC. The microbrews are very tasty and a nice menu to compliment the beers. I would recommend the cucumber/turkey wrap, its somewhat healthy and has a unique taste. The french fries are great too! This restaurant usually has exciting daily specials that aren’t on the menu as well. Too bad they took their to die for crabcakes and taco salad off the menu! I could also live for some hot pretzels with my microbrew that they used to have.Pros + friendly atmosphere, outdoor dining, tasty microbrewsCons – noisy at times, sell out of beer choi
i’m a student who lives in cleveland-this place is one of the better restaurants in tremont. however, the waitstaff DO act as if they are phds or upper crust members of society-i commented to rocco 2x on separate occasions regarding the cold service–he looked at my boobs and said sorry about that we’ll work on it. WTF. things i recommend…
I was very disappointed with the Browns pregame preparation 2 weeksago. Right away I felt bad for the waitress- they were understaffed and everyone was ordering offthe proclaimed “game day” menu. All 4 of us kept our orders very simple with grilled cheeses, but the waitress did not write them down. Not only did it take 45 minutes for the food, but ALL of the orders were wrong! When I brought them back up to the waitress, she apologized. After that, she once again brought out the wrong order!! To make matters WORSE, when I finally got my fries I grabbed a ketchup and when I cracked it open I was COVERED IN KETCHUP HEAD TO TOE as was everyone at my table. Apparently we were victims of the “ketchup explosion” prank with baking soda. While we were able to laugh about it, the whole experience at Fusion was terrible.
