Where is the Best Luxury Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
One of the very best surprises I found in Philly was the Sofitel Philadelphia. This hotel is pure European elegance in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked into the lobby, it was as though I had entered a different world…a world which only became more lovely after a fast, efficient and courteous check-in procedure. As a business traveler, I was thrilled upon entering my room. It was large, well appointed, quiet, with all of the amenities one could ask for, and then some. The beds were comfortable, the closet was huge, and it was complete with ironing board and iron, a safe, laundry bags, lots of hangers….anything one could want. And the bathroom….my goodness, I felt like I was in another world as I opened the double French doors into the spa-like bath with separate shower…it was incredible. In the morning, before my meetings, I went down to Cafe Colette for terrific croissants and coffee from a press. There were newspapers offered….it was simply a lovely way to sta
