went to skybar on a monday night and was disappointed that there was NO ONE there! it was really my friend and i, the bartender, and the manager. the bartender is the sole reason why we stayed.. he was so cute and nice and gave us a free shot. the music was cool… would definitely go back when i know there would be more of a crowd… ANY crowd!
I was there with my parents during the Memorial Day weekend, and little did I know that was the weekend of the biggest urban/rapper gathering in this country for the year (400,000+ people come for this). As a result, it was very loud, crazy and somewhat uncomfortable in this area during the party. Still, Lincoln street was great – completely ‘European’ feeling. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but rather with the whole location. Family vacationers, beware!!! A day after memorial day, it became much more quiet and calm. Hotel itself was nice. The beach is right outside, and the pool is great as well. The restaurant is OK-ish, nothing fancy. The gym could be much better, with only 1 machine of each type and a very limited set of weights. The poolside bar is good, with a nice beer and cocktail selection. It took unusually long to check in – about half an hour (considering it was already 1am, this was getting annoying).
