Where is the Best Luxury Hotel in Los Angeles, California?
I wanted a hotel close to the airport and got just that. However, I did not get just an average hotel. Sure, the faucet was leaky, the lighting bad (econowise fluorescent) and a broken panel on the dresser was a distraction, but it was a great room. Given that the property is going on twenty years old, the place is…
I booked 3 days at the Mondrian. The staff was ALWAYS FRIENDLY, everyone from the valet attendants to the people at check-in. The rooms are in definite need of a make-over (agree with previous postings). Our carpet had stains on the floor, and on our headboard, gross! The sheets are ok (250 thread count) but the down comforters and pillows are a plus. Since all the rooms face the pool/restaurant/bar, it tends to get a bit noisy at night. Will not stay here again.
Those are the words that come to mind when I think of this piece of paradise. The location and property itself alreadys sets a spell on you as soon as you step into this beautifully landscaped retreat. The restaurant is set so beautifully, and the servers have these magnificent accents that sets the mood for a luxurious evening. One may feel that they stepped into Europe, even if its only for a couple of hours. The food has such great presence, and taste that you feel that you never want to leave this wonderful Restaurant. If you are some what of a wine person, you will definitely respect this extensive wine list. If you want to wow someone, then this is the place to go. Bravo Bel-Air!Pros + Scenery, Ambience, FoodCons – Maybe hard to find if you have never been there
I just visited the zinc lounge and had a Fantastic time! The food was delicious, my favorite was definitely the Ahi 🙂 The drinks, well let me just say: Oh Ya! The drinks were um how do i put this, AMAZING. The prices were compariable to other bar and resturaunts of its type in the area and in comparison were well worth it especially since they offer drinks that are not only dangerously yummy but also Very Unique. I had a drink called the “frozen orchid” which was like nothing I had ever had before and was served in an amazing glass made of ice and the taste, lets just say my boyfriend has competition because I think I’m in Love! Plus, there was a good variety on their drink menu. Also, I happen to be a fairly indecisive individual and it took me a long time to decide on what I should commit to for my first drink..like 30 minutes and included an extensive interview with the bartender for suggestions.. and I really appreciated how friendly and knowledgable the staff was with helping
I went to the spa today and had one of the best facials I’ve gotten in LA. My pedicure was very relaxing and she did a great job. Everyone at the staff is so friendly and helpful and I can not rave enough about this place. Definitely looking forward to going back!!!
