This hotel is decent. The rooms are very nice and the cost is very low. I stayed a weekend there and loved it. It’s centrally located so there is always something exciting going on to check out at night. I would recommend this place to others.

Sadly, Detroit is an ugly town with no nice hotels other that this one, and the Westin at DTW. Room â€” No complaints, good stuff.Food â€” Room service “cheese plate” is a bit of a joke. This hotel is ok. Nothing exceptional and it has more negatives than positives. I don’t know how it ended up on the 2008 Best Detroit Hotel Pools lists because it doesn’t even have a pool. Parking is forced valet, no alternative, but for safety’s sake, it’s probably a good idea. Don’t stay here if you are a walker, unless you want to go one of about 4 restaurants within walking distance.

It’s fun to enjoy a good breakfast in the ambience of the Ritz-Carlton Dearborn. My favorite is their veggie omelet with fresh orange juice, and a lesiurely cup of freshly brewed coffee. The service is generally very good and the staff attentive. Silverware is elegant too.
