Where is the Best Luxury Hotel in Denver, Colorado?
I loved the spa and the rooms, especially the steam showers…Wow! I love this hotel and the food in Ellyington’s. My only complaint was that my massage was a little lacking and my facial was simply not worth it. I had a male provider for my massage and he was light handed (I specified deep tissue). While he was professional I didnt walk away with that OMG feeling that I usually come away from a spa with, I am assuming he is new to the spa profession which says something. My facial was regretful. I am an avid spa participant and I am a preferred client at Canyon Ranch…they have a long way to go with the staff (hire professionals with experiece!) Wow – what a gem this hotel is. Not sure what the 1 star posters saw, but I experienced none of what they complained about. Have been to this hotel many times, and have yet to have a bad exerience. Everything here is top notch – from the valet staff (overly helpful and friendly) to the front desk clerks (knowledgable about everything in the hotel and the area). The rooms are always clean, and the beds are the best! The free wi-fi in the rooms is a huge bonus – most upscale hotels charge you over $10 per day, and here it’s free.The restaurant (Second Home) is so much better than it used to be when it was (i think) Mirepoix. Better food, nicer decor, overall tons better.When you come to Denver, and need a great place to stay, go to the JW Marriott!Oh – and I recently found out they have some great packages – I am surprising my wife with the “shopping package” which includes a shopping gift card to the local neighborhood stores. Pros + Everything Cons – Nothing
