I’m not a big fan of mixing flavors. It’s either sweet or savory not both. One of the main reasons I’ve never quite understood the maple bacon donut at voodoo. Perhaps I’m a snob, maybe I’m scared who…

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! if you like real thai food, you should try this restaurant. It’s a little hard to find, but that’s where the good food is. I’ve been going to this restaurant for atleast 3 times a week, good service, good food, and everything else. If you don’t believe me, that’s fine, try it yourself :)- – – – – – – – – – – *****add – 06/30/06more than a year that i’ve been to this restaurant, most of the things i see are improvement.. new food, friendly service, taste… just a great restaurant. I know sometimes they got a busy hour peak.. service might be a bit lousy, but they’re still trying to serves you as best as they could, i can feel it. For this kind of services, and the taste of food, i wouldn’t mind to find the restaurant

Scoring Big @ McMenamin’s with Tony T-Money and the Crew: This rocking place kept T-Money and the Wrecking Crew kicking it like Tai-Bo all night long. T was kind enuff to leave his credit card and pick up the tab for all the sweet honeys! We thought we lost him in the cleavage of Miss California but he survived, yelled “cut me Mick!” and went in for the TKO! Gino was ready to front the bail money, but T-Money was all good. Fortunately you can buy enough beer to please a posse at McMenamin’s without making a dent in the company pocketbook. Sully found the wings and the beer slide in and out just as easily – and the chicks too! Sweet lady LuLu kept it real while Bookie and his soon to be life-time sweetie Carny chugged some cheap ones. As for Mr. Pimpdiggity – well, if you want to know the rest, buy the rights!Pros + sweet honies that show a lot of cleavageCons – too many dudes

This was my first time in Portland and went to the Ringside for my birthday dinner. I had the chicken breast balsamico and it was the GREATEST chicken I’ve ever had and will probably ever have!!! everyone elses food was spectacular as well. Just some drawbacks…..the service was friendly but the waiter took a VERY long time with everything and we barely saw him throughout the meal. We had a reservation at 9:30pm, so by the time we got there, the restaurant was pretty much cleared out. We were also never given the wine list until after the dinner was over with and we were given the dessert menu with the wine list on the other side. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Pros + Great food. Nice ambience.Cons – Very slow service. Not too attentive.

We discovered this little gem a few years ago and make it a weekly spot. Whether we dine there or get the sushi “to go”, we have found Mio to always be the freshest sushi around. Danny is the best host in town, always making sure everything is perfect for his customers, and David and all of the guys behind the bar are incredible! And to top it off, we get out of there for about half of what we pay downtown…Great place!
