Where is the Best Lunch Spot in New Orleans, Louisiana?
My first trip to Slice–Ordered a pizza over the phone, they said it would take 15 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I drove over. I went in to pay and noticed that they had a “slice specialty pizza” some sort of potato, sausage with an avocado aoli. My original order wasn’t ready yet, so I ordered one single slice of the slice of the day … Well, to my surprise it took 30 minutes for them to cook one slice of pizza. I am not exaggerating, 30 minutes. After 15 minutes, I asked the counter girl and she said, “well. you changed your order so it is going to take longer” In my defense, I didn’t change my order, I added to my order. If a whole pizza takes 15 minutes, why in the world would one slice take a half an hour?? I paid and tipped and took my pizza home . I opened my pizza and to my disappointment it wasn’t really that good. It tasted flat, not that it was bad just not really good..
