Where is the Best Lunch Spot in Las Vegas, Nevada?
This place was suggested to my husband and I (from LA) by the guy at the DMV. We didn’t figure we’d like it because, like I said, we ARE from LA. But we went because it was close to home. We dug it!!! Great salsa, taquitos, ad my husband always goes for those wet beef burritos in red-chili sauce…it was really TASTY!! Tender beef and the sauce was as good as it gets. Now, I am hungry.Pros + good service, yummyCons – kind of chain-ish
The problem here is that they price themselves similar to Bradley Ogdon, Delmonico’s, Rosemary’s, Andre’s, etc; but they are a large chain restaurant, and simply cannot deliver the expected level of service and quality of food. There was nothing ‘wrong’ with the service or our meal. But when all the steaks, a la carte, are $43 or more, my expectations rise higher than what a chain steak house can deliver. We chose this place because of its proximity to TI (where our friend was coming from) and because they had plenty of available reservations last minute on a Sat night. There were 3 adults & a toddler in our party–I called ahead of time to assure that they had highchairs and that it would be ok to bring the toddler. Surprisingly, we were given a prime table in the corner with views up and down the strip–and the tables are separated from each other by a good deal of distance. The ambience was very good—great views, not too loud, comfortable. The server was very nice, but again
