saw monday night football (pats vs. vikings) here last night. both bars were already packed (get here early if you want a good seat for any game) so we waited about 15 minutes for a seat in the main dining area. service was great – our waiter would appear just at the right time for a beer refill! i split a smoked bbq burger with david – his choice – and i ravaged my half. the bacon, pepper jack cheese and the meat marinated in bbq sauce was a good combination. i think they had a minimum of $10/person/hour but i don’t think that was heavily enforced last night since it was packed for mnf. overall, great sport bar

Gordon Biersch is one of the few restaurant chains where you can eat every week, and still leave shaking your head in amazement as to how good the food is. I never get tired of this restaurant. The restaurant / brewery is the brainchild of two friends (Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch). Their dream of great food and beer came true in 1988, and is still going strong today. Propelled by their commitment to only using the freshest ingredients, and their hand crafted beer, puts Gordon Biersch near the top of the gastropub world.Yesterday for lunch we had both the Chopped Salad and Cobb Salad. The salads are quite large, with my two lady guests splitting the Cobb (but still unable to finish it).Their sandwiches and burgers are also superb, served with garlic fries (the smell of which will win you over right when you walk in). The blackened Ahi tuna sandwich is a must try.As for me, I generally have the excellent Southwest Chi

It was a complete fluke that my boyfriend and I found this place. He was in the mood for a sandwich and he dialed it into the GPS unit and we got this name “Capriottis.” We were expecting typical italian deli style sandwiches and got a lot more. I got “The Bobbie” and as did half the people in the place. My boyfriend ordered the “Capastrami.” The service was brusque, but not rude. They have a set system of ordering. Hint: Order at the counter, not the cash stand. We took the sandwiches to go and before we even left the parking lot we were pulling out the sandwiches to see the results. The sandwiches were so good we were actually excited. We had been comtemplating just going to Subway before this place! The pastrami was freshly cooked and not chewy at all. You could tell it had NOT been sitting in a heating vat all day. The slaw with the russian dressing, yummm.”The Bobbie” tasted just like it promised, a Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich. The stuffing was very flavorful and moist, wi
