Where is the Best Lunch Spot in Denver, Colorado?
I used to be a big In ‘N out fan until a friend told me to try Fatburger. Both chains are from California, but that is where the similarities end.Fatburgers are made to order, which is great, but there is something about the taste of the burger that gets me everytime. I can tell they use high quality ingrediants–the cheese for instance tastes like real cheese and the lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh. My wife always gets the turkeyburger. I have to admit–I like it too.The onion rings are killer. Probably the best I have ever had. Ever.If you go, make sure you get one of the milkshakes. They are the icing on the cake- The bun on the burger.
Are you in need of a quick Mexican fix, or a completely and totally filling meal on a budget? It’s completely worth a trip to Pete’s then. Their fast service will get you out the door (or to the table, at least) quickly and leave you sated.Illegal Pete’s offers pretty much the best fast-casual burritos, if not the best all around, in town. Certainly the best fish burritos — get the Big Fish. Great queso dip too. On top of that, they serve Hazed and Infused, run a decent happy hour, and know how to make a margarita fresh.Don’t be intimidated by lines, as the longest wait is typically about five-six minutes, and that’s if they’re out the door. My friends and I go here once in a while on Friday night for drinksGood professional crowd, good live music, more seating than on previous visits.After a few good drinks, our last one was skimpy. I’m not sure if our 20 year old waitress spilled them, but my friend barely got 2 sips of Grand Marnier. After mentioing it to the waitress, she just looked at it puzzled. Not good considering what they charge for drinks.Also, a distinct smell of sewer problems near the bathroom. Not good for even a neighborhood restaurant let alone an upscale one.Pros + nice crowd, excellent service, good music, good place to go on Friday nightCons – Maybe skip that last drink, need to fix “sewer smell”
Our housekeeper spoke very little English but was eager to please (and honest). She pointed at items to make sure that is what we wanted. My mom left pearl earrings on desk when we went out and they were still there when we returned after room was cleaned. Restaurant food was fair but view of river was nice. If have handicap parking tag make sure to mention it – parking is less expensive.
I love this restaurants. They are very curtious and the owner comes out and personnaly greats you, the staff is ver plesant and show that they are glad to have you there. The food is really good just like good old southern cooking. Taste just like mamas cooking. lol. Put i would highly recommend this place. We had our wedding he in April and the catering and room that was provided for was amazing.
