Where is the Best Live Music Venue in Hartford, Connecticut?
Upon entering, The Hungry Tiger looks like your local pub. Nice atmosphere, many unique wall decorations including photos of many performers who have been there. The food was good. When the band began playing, it was a bit too loud for the size of the space. Be sure to bring your earplugs or the ringing will be unbearable the next day. That’s where the niceties stopped. Getting a drink was very hard. The waitress ignored our party for very long stretches. The head bartender (as told by a few patrons) was rude. When waiting for a drink, she spent a lot of time chtting with the regulars, completely ignoring others at the bar. Tough to miss people waiting for a drink since the bar is only about 14 feet long. When she would walk by and I tried to get her attention, she would rudely say things like, ‘if you don’t wait your turn, I won’t serve you ‘ or “Don’t call me, I will get to you when I am done with them(the regulars at the end of the bar)” and the proceed to go to them and chat for a
