Where is the Best Live Music Venue in Dallas, Texas?
I just moved to the area and was looking for a good venue for original music and definately found it. Quick service, good music, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately if I do go back I will be using CASH ONLY. Even though we tipped the cover girl which I don’t think many do, she added 4 dollars to our credit card. Then at the end of the night we proceed to have 5 drinks on our checks which weren’t ours. The bartender fixed it yet come to find out checking my account on Sunday 2 amounts had been taken out exceeding my bill by over 120 dollars!! I thought the 35% tip I gave her would suffice. I don’t normally complain being from the bar business for 12 years but I will never go there without cash in hand and paying by drink from now on. Pros + great music, good atmosphere, quick serviceCons – charges put on CC that were not valid!!
I’m going with a 3 for the holistic value. The food isn’t bad, but can be a bit pricey depending on what you want. It’s a good place to sit outside at night and catch some live music that won’t blare your ears off. Parking here is horrendous out front, their parking lot is really tiny. They sell cigars and you can smoke them outside in the outdoor area should you choose. I get a real “Austin” kind of vibe on the weekend nights, for whatever that’s worth. I’m not sure of the nationality of the owners, but the older white lady that works there really comes off as being shrewd. And I’ve heard LOTS of people say that. I wish she would get an attitude check because I can imagine it drives some customers away. Aside from that, it’s a neat little place. Kind of in an odd spot on Preston, but it’s pretty close to the Preston/190 exit… convenient for anyone living in the northern parts of the dee eff dub.
This is a nice upscale jazz/restaurant establishments located in far n.dallas there has never been a time ive been to sambuca’s jazz and did not enjoy myself a diverse crowd comfortable and not congested the live entertainment and staff is exceptional, atmosphere & enviroment is nice jazzy & cozy yet fun the ambiance is beautiful so if your looking for a nice laid back place to chill kick your shoes off because this is the place to relax chill & enjoy BUT, the only dissapointed is the food so I suggest you dine out b4 going to sambuca the food is not worth 30 dollars a plate and UP and not very good at all(hated it) truly not worth it however people you are SURE to have a good time believe me. Looking for some life entertainment to listen to w/some of the best jazz & r&b artist in the dfw metro? Sambuca Addison is it!!! I enjoy myself everytime I go but remember pls eat b4 going(smile)
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO DALLAS AND I ACCIDENTLY FOUND D’S LAST RESORT WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR TGI FRIDAYS. MY FRIEND HAD TOLD ME ABOUT IT BUT I DIDNT KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT ON MY OWN. BUT I DID AND I’M GLAD. ME AND MY TWO BEST FRIENDS CAME TO DALLAS FOR A GIRLS BIRTHDAY GETAWAY WEEKEND. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT IT WAS A CASUAL FUN ATMOSPHERE. OUR WAITRESS WAS GREAT SHE ASKED WHERE WE WERE FROM AND EVEN INTRODUCED US TO ANOTHER GROUP THAT WAS VISITING FROM THE SAME STATE WE’RE FROM. SHE ALSO HELPED US SEARCH FOR NIGHT CLUBS IN THE AREA SINCE WE WEREN’T FROM THERE. WE ORDERED DRINKS AND THEY ARRIVED WITHIN MINUTES OF US ORDERING THEM. THE MENU DIDNT HAVE MANY SELECTIONS BUT WHAT DID CATCH MY EYE WAS ON THE APPITIZER MENU. IT WAS THE CRAB SPHERES. OH MY GOSH THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS. AFTER ORDERING OUR MEAL IT TOOK APPROX. 10 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE ORDER FOR US TO GET OUR MEAL. EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GO WE ASKED FOR
