Where is the Best Lingerie in Portland, Oregon?
The ladies at oh baby are so incredibly helpful! I live in Chicago and stopped by the store on 23rd when I was visiting family and chatted with Anna about the slip I was looking for to go under my wedding dress. She didn’t have anything in stock, but had a slip coming in a few weeks that she thought would work. When it came in, she called me up and shipped it to Chicago for me. She was right – it was absolutely perfect. Two weeks to go until the wedding now and I tried my slip on and it looks like I’ve gained just a tiny bit of weight. I called the store in a panic and Anna and Alison totally talked me off the ledge. They have the next size up in stock and are sending it off to me. Yay! I will be stopping in and spending lots of cash every time I’m in Portland!
very nice owner and employees. great merchandise. expensive but worth it if you’re into spending money for nice undies! the only negative side is that they have a very detailed return policy that is not displayed anywhere until you see it on the bottom of YOUR RECEIPT! after youve paid, you see that you cannot ever get your money back. they do allow store credit SOMETIMES according to certain criteria, but even so, it expires after 3 months. shop here for great merchandise but KNOW WHAT YOURE OUT IN THE CASH DEPARTMENT. i did suggest to an employee to post the return info at the register, she said she would discuss it with the owner; still no sign.sidenote – keep their return policy in mind when buying gifts!Pros + great serviceCons – UNPOSTED DETAILED RETURN POLICY
After a recent bad experience at Cathie?s on 82nd Ave. (please see review on their page) I decided to give Halloween 1 last chance this year. All I wanted to do was find something fun and attractive to be able to wear out to the parties I?m going to. The instant I walked in the doors, I knew that this would be a better place to shop! The store was beautiful! The sales staff that I spoke with were understanding of the fact that I am a bigger girl, and walked me around to all sorts of wonderful costumes available in my size. They didn?t look down on me because I?m not built like a twig and were able to set me up with an entire outfit from head to toe! There were even a couple more items that I decided to get, but even though they didn?t have my size at that location, they were able to tell me what location I could get them at, and even offered to have them transferred in if it would be easier for me!From what I saw here, I would send anyone and everyone I know to them!Pros + Wonderf
I recently popped into Spartacus to pick up a few things and boy has it changed! This is not your parent’s adult shop, that is for sure. Apparently there was a major overhaul done sometime in the last 18 months since I had last stepped foot in the store. The front of the shop is a veritable cornucopia of lingerie, club wear, and other naughty delights. My girlfriend was begging for a few items from the front of the store but I had other things in mind. This leads me to *my* favorite part… the “back room”. To enter the back age restricted area (the front is all ages), you pass through a sort of metal beaded entrance to get to the good stuff. If whips, chains, and leather are your thing, well then, baby, you are home! We browsed for an hour looking at all the leather items.
