Where is the Best Lingerie in New York, New York?
I had lived in the East Village for years before I stumbled upon Azaleas. This place is adorable! I have never had a problem with bad customer service. In fact I have found some of my most favorite bra sets here. The staff remembers me and always makes good recommendations that suit my style and body type. As far as finding more stuff at Victoria’s Secret (I’ll try not to go off on a rampage) BUT If you like trampy looking cheap lingerie that is made in sweat shops in Sri Lanka than by all means shop away. Most of the clothing and lingerie I have purchased from Azaleas is from local designersor LA designers and I just purchased a beautiful set from Princess tam tam. Give this place a try, it is almost impossible to leave without spending your hard earned money. What a gem! And still waiting to be discovered! I really cannot say enough good things about this store. Eye candy all over. The selection is truly luscious, exxtra tasteful, absolutely wearable (not a common combo with lingerie), and the store is also very pretty and super well-located in Williamsburg. I live in mid-town Manhattan, and would rather go shopping at this store than anywhere else in Manhattan cuz it’s so much easier finding the right lingerie here. Fox carries nothing plain, nothing boring, and you don’t have to go through 120 bras to find one that works. Other boutiques seem so cluttered in comparison, making shopping a headache. Went twice in one week, once alone and once with 2 friends that wanted what I got. PLUS, the shop is actually pleasant to be in. It has a great vibe, and the sales woman is helpful and attentive, so if you DO ask for help with something, she can match you with the right stuff, which isn’t very common. This boutique carries several lingerie and loungewear collections by designers that are difficult to find in the United States, such as Alice & Astrid, Yoba, Aloe, and Frankly Darling, as well as some established favorites like Frost French and Dolce & Gabbana. All of the pieces are absolutely beautiful, and they even sell some handmade, one-of-a-kind items. The design of the store itself is enough to go see one wall is made entirely of gray, textured panels and the dressing room makes you feel like youre in a white cloud.
