What a beautiful shop!! I found this little treasure trove as I was taking my dogs for their daily walk–I can’t believe I’ve walked by this place so many times and never noticed it before!! I literally live around the corner.Amazing decor and extreme attention to detail, from the topiaries outside all the way down to the wallpaper. If you have yet to see this place, you must make a trip very soon. Integrated into the vibe of the store is class, luxury-of course, sensuality and a bit of humor for good measure. The lingerie and other items are mostly imported from the UK, so it’s quite unlikely to find much of what’s there carried anywhere else in the States. And if there’s anything anyone can say about LA is people love exclusivity!! Take a trip to Coco de Mer and truly find yourself…
Hoss International is the best place to shop for Corsets. They give you all the info regarding size, color, fabrics, and styles. They don’t push you to buy and always you feel comfortable to go back. Also you can find lingerie, shoes, costumes you name it and for sure they have it. Love the store and the service.
I recently read about this place from one of the local magazines, & reading about it is nothing compared to actually being there. Just walking through the front garden puts anyone in a sensual mood, especially if at night with all the candles twinkling & the fireplace burning. The layout is gorgeous; the scent of one of their signature candles fills the rooms, & it’s hard not to reach out & touch the silky fabrics on display. I will admit prices are outrageous, but you get what you pay for. Everything is wrapped exquisitely, whether for yourself or someone else. If you can’t reach the store in LA or NY, the website has a good selection of their merchandise, but you must experience it in person. I have trouble returning; I usually end up leaving with something, even if it’s only a votive candle. I’ve been shopping at this stores’ other locations (Seattle, NYC) for years and I’m so happy they opened a store in L.A. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and non-judgemental.
