Where is the Best Latin Food in Atlanta, Georgia?
I went to Papi’s with my family and was not dissapointed. My husband and I ordered the Cuban Sandwich which was to die for. Papa Relleno, tostones and platanos maduro. Let’s just say that it was way too much food with a great price. The kids ordered chicken tenders and Little Rey sandwiches. They ate every bite and I have never seen my children eat fries so quickly. We ended our meal by sharing coconut flan which was o.k. and a mango pie that was awsome. We heard of this place from a friend and made a special one hour trip to try it out. It was so good we will be back. The waitress was super friendly and we were surprised at how quickly our food arrived. The price was another welcome surprise. In this economy eating out is a luxory and this is one place that we were happy to spend the money.
My girlfriends and I went out for my birthday and this was a perfect place to go with a group. While sitting on the patio, we shared a bunch of different items such as the goat cheese, plantains with coconut milk, ceviche, chicken kabobs, and not to forget the fish tacos. They were all EXCELLENT!! (The fish tacos had fantastic flavors with a great kick!) Our waiter was very helpful and was always there to take our on going orders. Definitely a place to enjoy with friends while taking in the music from the band. We will be going back in the near future! Good job, Loca Luna!!Pros + perfect portion sizesCons – Some of the drinks could be better
Well honestly the food wasnt very good, but great atmosphere and at $28 for 2 including a number of fine margaritas, good value. The perfect spot for a weeknight when you can just chill up on the balcony. The cheese dip came out of a can, but the chorizo quesadilla was great/Pros + value, atmosphere, margaritasCons – processed food, parking
Yes, I love food and I love good food that is priced right and served by really nice people! That said, I’ve never had a bad experience at a Fifth Group Restaurant – this is no exception! It is already very popular and I get why – the vibe is fun & casual, the frozen margaritas are perfect, the music, the tv’s, the staff, and the price all fit the laid-back Highlands perfectly. I’ve gone three times since it opened and was with a group twice. We started with the yummy chips (lime and salt!) with guac and queso – everyone loved this. After a round of frozen mojitos and margaritas we shared 2 tasty carnitas and vegetarian mexican pizzas (also great with beer I’ve noticed) and topped them with a few salsas from the salsa bar. I love the tacos – my 2 favs are the fried chicken (with grilled corn and lime mayo!) and the tilapia. A couple of friends had the Green chili chicken enchiladas – very nice. Next time I go back, I really want to try the Rellenos and pork Carnitas tacos –
