Where is the Best Late-Night Dining in Seattle, Washington?

My husband and I stayed at the Paramount Hotel, and so tried the Dragonfish Cafe twice during our stay. We went for dinner on Friday night, the wait was short, but the noise inside was almost intolerable. (Okay, I had a migraine, but still, you couldn’t even have a conversation without screaming.) My husband’s steak was very good, but it was a small portion served with nothing else but onion slices. My cashew chicken was great, spicy without scorching, great sauce and nice vegetables, but the crispy noodles were strange and unsatisfying altogether. We spent $55 for 2 small entrees and a Coke- a little pricey for what we got, in my opinion. We decided to go back on Sunday for brunch, purely because of the location, and the fact that we had a 2 hour wait until our train left. My husband had the ham and cheese omelette with country potatoes, which was good, but nothing spectacular. I had the french toast with blueberry compote, which was actually a good sized portion and very tasty

We are fine dining freaks and try to eat all organic at home so when we found Seattle FIRST and ONLY certified organic restaurant, we were intrigued. We had the delicous scallop appetizer with a hint of garlic and creamy balsamic reduction followed by a hearty salad. I had Don’s amazing chicken and my husband had the ribeye. They happily substitued the vegetables for me because of a food allergy. After a nice chianti (very reasonable wine list), we topped the meal off with this made to order warm chocolate cake ouzing with hot, creamy goodness and fresh vanilla ice cream. We plan to return many times.Pros + all organic, inventive menu, delicous fresh foodCons – , so so service

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! GOOD GOOD GOOD! The burgers taste like they’re homemade! They’re firm and griddled well, not like the pasty commercial patties you get at drive thru’s. Fries are soft, but tasty, and don’t think about sharing – you’ll regret it! Seating is always available – in your car! Otherwise, it’s standing room only in the great concrete outdoors.Pros + cheap. yummy. ’nuff said.Cons – didn’t see any law breakers…

Let’s begin with the good. The view is outstanding; wonderful view of the Seattle skyline from many tables. Tonight was our second visit and once again the service (from the server – more on that shortly) was outstanding. The lobster bisque is out of this world and most of the entrees are very good although a bit pricey. The desert (especially the coconut sundae and the “celebration cake” are over the top great) Overall, I would give Daniel’s Broiler a 4.5 (close to a 5) on this side of the ledger. Now for the not-so-good. First off, when I’m enjoying an expensive meal, I don’t like being bothered every few minutes about what cutlery I’m no longer using, whether I’m finished with the bread, whether I want the butter on my table any longer, etc. It felt as though they were running low on utensils and needed to get as many from the tables as they could! Several times while conversing with my wife, I had a person reaching across me to retrieve dishes. If I’m through with them, I’ll put t

now i know what you’re going to say- what kind of idiot orders mojitos in the dead of winter? well…. after flying home from our two week vacation in Miami, my boyfriend and I stopped into the BluWater on Lake Union. We had actually been heading to I love Sushi, but they were closed. When we sat at the bar the bartender was picking mint leaves, which is what started off our conversation. After explaining that we had just returned from our tropical vacation, the bartender challenged us that he could make a mojito just as fantastic as any we had tried… who doesn’t accept a that kind of bet? i hate to admit it, BUT THE DRINKS WERE AWESOME!!! we ended up staying for some late night happy hour and a little Sportcenter, and had a great time with our new friend 🙂 I hadn’t been to Bluwater in over a year, but I’ll be back now! Thanks to Matt, who made our first night back in rainy cold seattle a real treat.
