I arrived relatively early, about an hour after it had opened, but the moment I walked through the doors, I swear I felt hipper than ever. A richly colored and moody place, Iluna Basque specializes in Basque (French/Spanish) tapas. Young, baby-faced chef Mattin Noblia had stepped in as host for the evening, and he showed me to my table with a smile. (Apparently he’s done modeling, according to his profile) The flip-top menu read simply, but my mouth watered. Flash-fried shaved potatoes weren’t pommes frites, but rather thin, crisp little fries, infused with the flavor of fresh basil, which, to my surprise, were also delicious deep-fried. Served with a tiny ramekin of red pepper aioli, and they put me in artery-clogged heaven. Smooth butter lettuce was tossed with sweet fresh pears and given a refreshing splash of flavor from segmented grapefruit. A Basque chicken and chorizo saute was hearty, warming, and full of soul, giving me the impression that this was something akin to what Matti

I’ve been going to Harry’s for some time now and the past 3 weekends I’ve ended up there, including last night and I have to say the music is AWESOME. They play everything from hip/hop to new stuff and the best part was they played my favorite Robert Palmer song! I had a great time with my friends but it had much to do with the great music and the friendly staff as well. I would go there to have a great time any day of the week!!!!! Oh I met a couple hot guys too!

They raised prices, it got too noisy and the best Mac and Cheese in Bay Area became barely average (they changed the type cheese and macaroni). I also guess now they got more popular, and thus, they are trying to squeeze everyone in by basically making sit on each other laps. The food can be great sometimes, so we might be back for dinner one day, if we are feeling on spending too much money but definitely not for lunch. The first and last experience during lunch was horrible. The server named George wasn’t able to suggest or recommend any of the dishes besides saying twice “they all are good”. That’s no brainer! He also was way too arrogant to be a sever. I myself served, managed two restaurants and now I eat out almost on daily basis, so I am not hard to please and I tip well. But don’t act like you are doing me a favor by doing your job! I have seen enough people in this industry who show so much attitude and then blame everyone but themselves for receiving bad tip or being stiffed

Everything we ate at Osha was amazing – it just took forever for them to come take our order. Once we did, the food came very quickly and was extremely tasty. We shared a salad, a noodle soup, a curry, and a fried rice and everything was delicious. All that plus a beer for just under $40 – a great deal. We will definitely go back, just not when we are starving since it took some time for a table to free up and then that extended wait once we were seated before we could order.Pros + The food!!Cons – The service

Expect to run into mortgage brokers, lawyers, and accountants here because the bar is where they like to do a lot of their drinking, evidently. The kitchen, on the other hand, is a little less serious…
