The service was outstanding – everyone was very friendly. When our table was ready, they came and found us instead of giving us a buzzer, or calling our name over the speaker. We went for New Years, and they handed out lays, party noise makers, hats, etc. etc. That was really fun. There is a great view of the streets and skyscrapers of downtown Pittsburgh, too. This was a great place to eat, and a very cool bar to sit at. VERY long – plenty of seats.I had the lobster pasta, which was excellent, but the sauce was really heavy, and I could only get through half of it. My wife had the mussels and a steak, which was perfectly done. She didn’t see what she wanted on the menu, but they asked what she wanted, and she got it. Great service.Pros + good parking, great service, cool atmosphereCons – , loud

From the moment you walk in you cant stop smiling ,The thing that made it the best was the workers they have fun thelittle guy on the grill was getting crushed and singing and dancing, They joke with you at the counter and make you really feel like a regular.Althogh it was packed my Food was quick delicious and the price for the area was not at all unreasonabl. You can watch them prepare your food from start to finish. The chilli cheese fries are to die for. They have a steak called THE YINZER which is loaded with onions, green pepper, bannana peppers, mushroom, and toped with lettuce and tomatos. They even offered to wrap what i dont finish most places hand you a box.The decor of the place is relax, trully a great spot to eat.Way to bring a philly favorite to the burgh.Pros + The service was the best around not like other places,Cons – There arenot more of these around

To put it simply, you can go to Tom’ s Diner on W. Lib. at its busiest time all day (1:00am-3:00am weekends) and you will get the best service in the city. The workers have been there for as long as I have been eating there (5 years) and there is never a mistake made or time wasted. At full capacity I am waited on in minutes and my food is ALWAYS ready before I can ever finish my salad. Honestly, In over 100 trips to Tom’s I have never once had to wait for ANYTHING!!! Your in and out and fully stuffed with the biggest and best gyro (yeero) ever in 20 minutes… for whatever else you might be doing at all hours of the night (great place to bring newly aquired friends)!Pros + In and Out Fast, Great Service, Great PricesCons – , Small Booths, Small TV
