The Moosehead is a true Charlotte classic with comfy, casual digs, inventive drinks, and great bar food … all at reasonable prices. But do not be mistaken — it IS a family restaurant. Children are welcome and fawned upon. If you’re looking for a place to let your hair down and party like a grown-up, you may well find yourself next to a table of feral toddlers bombarding you and yours with slimy Cheerios. We have been mortified on two seperate occasions by bringing out of town guests — then finding ourselves seated next to a wailing high chair quintet. So, got kids? Lots of ’em? Want to take then somewhere really cool? The Moosehead is all about you. As for my friends and I, we prefer the company of other adults. And we can afford to tip well when our server is not constantly preoccupied with mopping up mac-and-cheese spitup at the next table. You go, families … treat your sippie-cup crowd to the endless delights of the Moose. If you are kid-free, or at least have

Food is good here, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. There are tv’s located throughout the restaurant but it’s hard to see more than 3 from wherever you’re sitting without really straining your neck. Not a place that I’d want to stay the entire night, but a good place to have dinner and begin the evening. If you like Buffalo sports, then this is place for you.

great place to eat practically around the clock…closed from 1am-6am sun-thurs and 4am – 6am fri and sat…a wide variety of food and desserts available at anytime..breakfast at 4pm or lasagna at 8am, it doesn’t matter …I am a caterer, and a food and bev. manager at another location, but I eat here approx. 3 times a week…not much of a turnover in employees…nice and friendly….the cooks are on point, and you don’t have to wait a long time for your food..I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they use to be open 24/7, now I have to make sure I get there before they close..I recommend this place all the time…they owe me a free meal now..ha! ha! ( alcoholic beverages too) Pros + wide variety of food at anytime and diversed patronage Cons – not open 24/7 anymore
