Where is the Best Late-Night Dining in Baltimore, Maryland?

This was probably one of the filthiest restaurants I have ever been in. The food was not horrible but I was afraid that the dust from the light about was going to fall in my food. If you go there, take a look at all bar lights and christmas lights they have strung all over. I can’t believe that the health dept. doesn’t do something about this. The restrooms were no better. The service is nothing to brag about. Service is very slow and not personable. I will be making a call to the health dept. just for the benefit of others because I will never go back. Can you imagine what the kitchen looks like if the rest of this place is soooooooooo dirty.

Being open 24/7 is pretty much the reason why the Double T endures. Not the best food in town, not the worst, either. This a good restaurant for large groups, they seem pretty flexible about adding tables, etc. The huge menu means most diets can be accommodated. The desserts look better than they taste. You can get better food up the street at Shirley’s but they can’t handle large groups as well as Double T. The service is not excellent (sometimes it’s downright bad) but not as consistently bad as the Paper Moon or Burke’s. They do take their time serving you. It’s less annoying in a large group. The prices are in line with similar restaurants, neither a bargain nor outrageously expensive. If you want bargain food, you’d be better off going up Rolling Road to Pioneer Pit Beef. But it’s cheaper than Paper Moon. There’s nothing here that would make me vow never to come back but nothing memorable to make me suggest it UNLESS you have a large group of diverse tastes. Then coming here m

I work/have lived in Baltimore for years and was asked by an out-of-towner where he should visit while in town. Paper Moon. To me, it is a representative microcosm on the city – shocking, a little trashy, a little scary (depending on what time of nite you show up), filled with ornery characters, both working behind and seated at the counter. Everyone is just trying to make a buck. The food is what it says it is – an attempt at healthy food… which would explain why some of the dishes seem overpriced. As for the atmosphere, the designer is immensely talented, although this place is growing a bit stagnant.Bottom line: Great place to visit, not a great place to frequent.Pros + Free Parking, 24 Hour ServiceCons – Dangerous Neighborhood, Long Waits for 24 hr.
