West Linn Medspa is a place that I would highly recommend to anybody that is looking for a top-notch Medical Spa and it?s the best that Oregon has to offer. They should be the models for all the Medspa a place that conduct Ethical Business Practices unlike many other places out there. Consultation with a real Doctor that practices medicine first and not about the Money. Dr. Derek Norcom gives professional advice that was in my best interest that I would expect only to hear from my Dermatologist. Dr. Norcom gave me honest and truthfully answers. He is really knowledgeable and takes pride in his craft with the utmost concern for his patients. No pressure sales here and they actually care and listen. Dr. Norcom oversees every procedure done in his office unlike other MedSpas. My search for an incredible and perfect hair stylist is finally over!! Heather is absolutely the answer I have been waiting for. You guys, she is an angel sent from heaven!!!! I have been to way too many hair stylists and salons (seriously, it’s embarrassing to share all the places and people I have been to in order to find Heather) only to be disappointed. All my haircuts in the past have either been terrible, mediocre, or just something that I am not wowed by. You know those people you see walking down the street and you want to just stop and ask them where they get their hair done? Well….thanks to the lovely Heather, I am now one of those people! I have NEVER been one those people until I went to Heather! It’s not only that other people notice my fabulous hair, but I feel like a movie star now. I don’t know where to begin. I love this place. Frankly, I can’t really afford it – or any spa – at this time in my life but I make it work about 3x/year (and my husband knows to get me gift certificates there!) because what it does for stress is SO WORTH IT. I always get the 80 minute massage and then sit in the grotto afterward. The price of the massage may be a tad higher than at other places, and I almost put that down as a “con,” but the grotto is included which makes it waaaay worth it for what you get, since I’d pay just to use it! It’s like being transported to another place and time – a very roman baths feel or maybe it’s an ancient tomb feel (nice dim lighting too, which can be adjusted) but whatever it is, it’s amazing. You sit in this very large (small pool-sized) jacuzzi next to a beautiful tiled wall with tea candles and they bring you wine or champagne or tea or a few other options, with appetizers, and the ceiling above slowly changes colors and has stars! I cant say enough wonderful things about Nickol…. Im so impressed with her work on my hair. Nickol has been my stylist for years and I cant imagine having anyone but her color or cut my hair. She is a genius when it comes to color! She talks with you on what you are wanting done and really cares about the health of your hair which Ive never encountered before. Im used to paying someone to do what I ask and never received any input, even if what Im asking for will damage my hair, which I may not be aware of. Nickol wants the best for your hair and gives tips on keeping your hair beautiful. Im always completely satisfied with the results. After one such appointment, Nickol described to me the thermal straightening process after I complained one rainy day how my hair just seems a mess for so many months during the year since portland is so rainy.
