Where is the Best Karaoke in Portland, Oregon?
I didn’t eat the food and I only drank some tequila and some beer. So no reviews there. A friend had taken me out and said we were going to Chopsticks. What? She said it is where the Vespa crowd hangs out. I didn’t know there was a vespa crowd and when we pulled in I didn’t see any vespas. However, the crowd was a mix of hipster and prior college and other things. It was a fun crowd to say the least. The bartender was okay, the cocktail waitress that I watched handled her job well. My husband and I had show tickets downtown one Friday evening, so we decided to make a night of it, and eat downtown as well. We had eaten at the restaurant when we were dating several years ago, and thought it would be nice to go there again. We made a reservation, but upon arrival, they were not required. We choose a table rather than the enclosed dining room. The outward appearance of the sitting areas were sorta dismal. We ordered appetizers, which were pretty good except that our dinner arrived before we even had a chance to finish the appetizers. I had ordered a Halibut/Teriyaki dinner which smelled fishy at arrival. Note: Fresh fish does not smell fishy!! Fortunately, I still had some appetizer to eat. The waitress did not come back to the table until she brought the check. The lavatory was disgusting. Note to self, check out the lavatory before ordering. We will never return….
