This place is absolutely amazing. Almost every item on the expansive menu is great. Definitely start with an appetizer; they all are great and I promise it won?t break the bank. Lunch is a great time to go to experience the variety of food in a quiet environment. The drinks are quite good and inexpensive. Okay, to be honest?CHEAP!! Trust me, I have been around. You can drink all night if you must for a fraction of what you would pay downtown, uptown or in LODO-plus they have parking!! Karaoke night is always fun, especially when drinks are involved.Pros + food, drink, patio, parking……………Cons – ambience

I went to Charlie Brown’s last night for my birthday, after a friend of mine had suggested we go. Neither one of us had been here before. I reviewed the City Search reviews before going, and taking the poorer reviews with a grain of salt, we decided to still go. The manager and the bartender were both very nice. The happy hour specials were great (2 for 1), and they treat their b-day guests really well. The one thing I didn’t like, was our waitress. She gave us good service, but had an attitude the whole time. One of my friends and I tried joking around with her to get her to lighten up, as everyone can have a bad day, but it didn’t help. She seemed quite put out by us. On a separate note, the jalape?o poppers were excellent! I’m usually not the biggest fan, but they were very good. They used a red jalape?o pepper, and the cream cheese had a little something in the flavor that I couldn’t peg. When you ask for fajita chicken nachos, they actually give you a very generous portion of chic

Armida’s is a very lively, energetic and fun place to hang out. The staff changes less regularly than you might think so there’s usually someone there who will recognize you. It’s the kind of place you can go to alone and leave with a handful of friends. The drinks are a bit pricey and the cocktails are usually flat (no fizz!) so I’d recommend a beer and the chile rellenos. Really, this is a very fun place and worth a visit!Pros + The Karaoke, Duh.Cons – Drinks are pricey
