Where is the Best Karaoke in Atlanta, Georgia?
We went here for my 22nd birthday. Me and 7 of my friends dressed up. It was really easy to find, right off of west peachtree street and parking was every where. I read some where before we went that you could find some where to park for free, but we had two car loads and following so we just kind of picked one of the lots to park in. Parking is 4 dollars and hour or 10 for the whole night, we split parking. Once we got to the door we decided to enter in the lava part. We got our ids checked down below the steps and then walked up to the steps and apon entering a female behind a desk takes your 10 dollar cover. Another restaurant/lounge opened up in Castleberry Hill and I finally got a chance to check it out last night.. I’m pretty weary of new things coming up in my neighborhood, since its becoming quite a hot spot. Upon arriving, I was impressed! They really changed up the space with a fantastic bar and a very hot patio in the back. The patio even had little cabana areas with individual TVs!David, Torrie, Robert and I decided to sit at the bar. It was a nice mixed crowd and everyone looked like they were having a good time. I was excited to see that they had alcoholic slushie drinks like the Strawberry Daiquiri and Blue Martini! Visited the establishment with a group of ladies for Sunday Brunch. Let me start off by saying that the place is real trendy and a nice place to go hang out to have drinks with friends. The staff was very nice, eager to please and the service was excellent. Didn’t get a chance to visit the upstairs portion or the patio. Even though we heard there was another performance going on upstairs. There was a live band playing the entire 4 hours that we were there, which was cool, except for the fact that they were playing way too loud and none of us could hear each other speak.. Well on to the food, let’s just say that they need Donald Trump to come and tell the chef “Your FIRED”!There was something on the buffet that was suppose to be grits, but tasted more like creamed corn. We kept reading about the fish and chips and how they’re voted the best in Atlanta. Couldn’t image. Now we can. They were phenomenal. Couldn’t finish it because it is such a huge amount. We went on a Monday thinking it wouldn’t be too busy, but it was. Everyone was playing bar bingo. It was free so we played, and won $10, so my dinner ended up almost free. Cool. Can’t beat that. My boyfriend had chili and they give little bags of fritos with all the toppings. Never dipped chili with fritos before. Really good chili and the fritos made it even better.
