Where is the Best Jewelry in Portland, Oregon?
I was so overwhelming impressed with everything about this store. The employees are friendly funny and sincere. They are very knowledgable and treat you like royalty even if you are not there to buy. They have this most exquisite selection of semi-precious gem and sterling silver jewelry that I have honestly ever seen. Beautiful selection, beautiful store, they also have all sorts of curios from the world over. The Xtabay is the only place I can think of in Portland that is actually fun to shop at and I don’t leave feeling like crap about myself. The store has such a good range of sizes (size 10 shoes too!)and the larger items are just as lovely as the size six dresses and shoes. Each item in there has it’s own special charm. (I never feel like I’m wading through junk to get to the one tresure in the place), plus they’re ALWAYS getting in new stuff. This store is great. you must hit if you’ve never been there. OH, also the people who work there are very nice and helpful and know the inventory well enough to help you out if you’re feeling stuck. Very sincerely, Sarah F. I love Mabel and Zora. I can’t speak to how easy or hard it is to return something, because I’ve never wanted to return any of my purchases! The owners are very friendly, and yes, they do offer other outfits to you. I am usually the type of person that would like to be left alone (and am hyper-alert to pushiness), but I actually find their suggestions helpful. If you don’t want help, they will respect that. Last time I was there, I bought an orange cardigan that I wore to a school interview. I got in, and I’m not sayin’ it was definitely the sweater, but it surely didn’t hurt. The prices range from affordable to regular boutique prices. Oh, and in reference to a previous post, this block of Alberta is not “sketchy”. I live in the neighborhood and I’ve never felt safer outside at night.Pros + I want to buy everything.Cons – I want to buy everything.
On this particular occasion I received flowers from my family which were sent to me for my birthday. (And 20 years ago, Richard did the flowers for my wedding. I was so pleased that I have used their services since.) The recent arrangement was absolutely breathtaking. The flowers are premium blooms, and they always last much longer than I expect. There’s tremendous value in the exceptional quality and design that’s a signature touch of elegance in their work.
