Where is the Best Jewelry in Detroit, Michigan?
If you like estate style jewelry, everything in this store will drive you crazy, in a good way. They have so many gorgeous pieces, it’s hard to decide which to try first. The nice part is that once you’ve decided, you’ll find friendly and knowledgable staff to help you out. Totally recommended for vintage and estate jewelry junkies.
My husband got my engagement ring from Ace Diamond Jewelers. He got a beautiful diamond and setting for much cheaper than at any of the chain stores. When just “looking” for wedding bands we went to a chain and thought we had stumbled upon a deal so we bought them there. That was a BIG mistake! I love my wedding band but it was a headache working with the other jeweler and the deal wasn’t so great afterall. I regret not going to Ace for my wedding band. They are always extrememly helpful when I go in to get it cleaned. Any future jewelery purchases will be made at ACE!Cons – Doesn’t look like much from the outside.
Greis Jewelers has been around ever since I can remember. The longevity speaks volumes. Every time we have shopped there, the service is so courteous and friendly. There is absolutely no pressure. They are very knowledgeable with every piece in their store. The variety is impressive. The quality of the jewelry is always top. Their reputation depends on their product, so they choose only the best to be sold in their store. They care about each and every customer that walks into their store. It shows. I trust the staff to be truthful. Never once have I felt, I bought something I didn’t want. Their recommendations were always helpful in making some really hard decisions. I highly recommend Greis Jewelers.
I went to Diamond Castle because a friend of mine bought their engagement ring there and I was just looking for a watch. They were unbelievably knowledgeable and courteous, and even though they had a ton of people in the store while I was there, they still took ample time to talk to me and actually explain the product I was looking at. I know they could’ve made a lot more money as a business talking to somebody about engagement rings, which is a huge portion of their business, but they valued me as a customer and taught me about the watch I was looking at. A department store cannot offer that knowledge, and rarely are they courteous. I was also impressed by their selections and the pricing it was offered at. I’ve only been to a couple jewelry stores in my entire life but I know for a fact that the price I got for the expensive watch I purchased was much less than it was at Macy’s. I compared pricing online.I’ve already told a few of my friends about their store because I alwa
I recently went into Howards when looking for a new wedding set. They have a really nice selection of diamonds, and mountings, in a variety of price ranges. There pricing is very competitive. I didn’t purchase from them, (only because they don’t take trade in’s unless you bought the ring from them) but trust me they are one of the best when it comes to the pricing. It was hard to find a place to even come close. I was treated like they were happy I was there and the salesperson took her time to go over everything with me. She didn’t act like I was wasting her time. They have an huge selection of gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, earrings and watches. Definately worth the drive, you won’t be sorry.Pros + Huge selection, knowledgeable salespeople, very competitive prices.Cons – NONE
