Their pizza is so delicious! Don’t forget about Angelo’s when you’re ordering pizza take-out/delivery – SO much better than those chains. When eating at the restaurant, I recommend the back area where it’s romantic with the low lighting. The servers have always been very friendly and attentive, but not overly in your face. Can’t say ANYTHING negative.Pros + Wonderful pizza for take-out, Ambience, Great location in Lakewood

From reviews, my friend & I were not expecting great service. The place is hard to find. We made online reservations for 830, arrived 815 & were seated right away. The hostess was very nice but we didn’t get a good waitress. She was unhappy. She asked us what we wanted to drink right away. Once I answered what I wanted, she never asked my friend what she’d like. I said bottled water. Then she asked do you want bottled water or tap water? Before I could answer she said in a quick & quite tone bubbly or not bubbly. My friend couldn’t even hear what she was saying. Once I said not bubbly, she ran off quickly. It took 10mins for us to get our water, & a bus boy who brought it. Everything that our waitress did was very fast & quick & we didn’t know what was going on. But, the bus boy was wonderful. He came promptly after we’d finished with our Bruschetta & got us new plates. He refilled our water every time it got low. The waitress didnt give us our check until 25mins after we asked for it.

Four of us went here for a special occassion and we were very excited to try this place out. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, although due to a doorway covered by only a curtain it was a little too cold for comfort. The food was good, but not exeptional for the price paid. And above all, the service wasn’t exceptional for the price paid. We ordered many drinks on the night, and each time the server seemed to have a sly remark to make about it. He was very pretentious and assuming and by the end of the night we had had enough of the comments and just wanted to leave. For a bill of $450 for two people, you would think they would be more than happy to accomodate what we wanted, but the server acted more like our parents than an actual server. We were having an intimate dinner and were not loud or bothering anyone to warrant such judgement from the server. Overall the service can make or break a restaurant, and when the food was just average, the service definitely made this

service is top notch. the waitstaff (and there are plenty for you) is friendly and helpful. arrived at 5 so we were alone! its very dark but the ambience is wonderful. the menu is mostly italian but your waiter will go over it before you ask. the food was sinfully good.try the langonisti for an appetizer. the porcini mushroom ravioli(in the half size). and as full as you’ll be–don’t even think about skipping dessert try the poached pear its light and yummy. there are antipastas you recieve when you sit down(parmegiano reggiano!) and the homemade grappa is great!Pros + the food, ambience, serviceCons – little pricey
