We went on Mother’s Day & service was awful. We were seated upstairs & our poor server was friendly, but he must have had too many tables assigned to him. Did like the fact that the upstairs was much quieter than the main restaurant. My husband likes to come at lunch, the lunch prices are much more reasonable.Best rolls in town. Mother & I ate 2, lost count on my husband!Food was quite tasty. Mother had the Mele e Speck salad with apples, Gorgonzola, Walnuts and bacon in , apple cider vinaigrette.I had the fixed price menu with ravioli stuffed with braised veal, ricotta and spinach in fresh sage butter with lemon and pine nuts (outstanding), $11Chicken breast stuffed with sun dried tomato pesto (almost undetectable, over grilled asparagus (one spear), goat cheese and roasted potato torta with black truffle cream – DELISH! $26.Husband had Cacciucco – a stew of shrimp, scallops, fresh fish, calamari and mussels saut?ed with red chili, spring onions and roasted to

Wow! I’m surprised that some reviews claim Tony’s has bad food or service. I’ve eaten there many, many times, and I’ve always had a delicious, filling meal and prompt, attentive service (although, yes, there is one waiter who can be a bit harried). I used to live in Italy, and although I would say this is not as good as some of the food I ate there, it’s one of the better affordable Italian restaurants in Austin. I have no idea how people can prefer someplace like Buca Di Beppo over Tony’s. Really. That’s crazy. As for authentic Italian, I would say it’s far closer than most places, but yes, the dishes are catered to an American audience. Still, far better than your typical Italian joint. The bread is always warm and tasty, served with an olive oil herb mix, to which I add salt as that is how it was served and eaten when I was in Italy – I prefer it that way. Perhaps it’s just a regional custom. I also never saw folks dip their bread in oil in Italy. They poured it on the bread dir

I am a very loyal customer of Andiamos since they opened back two years ago?, not sure. I work in IBM and having to eat with clients, make it easier to be the one picking up the place to eat. Love the atmosphere and the food, they both complement each other very well, it’s been one of the most exquisite and fine experiences asking about the special of the day and be surprised by the knowledge and skills of the Chef. I been noticing lately that some changes has been done on its appearance and makes me think that the place definitely deserves a 4 -5 stars. Although I do not agree with some issues like the one I witnessed in my last visit, I saw the hostess walking in the middle of the dinning area with this person that am not sure if he was part of the kitchen staff or if he really works there, but he wasn’t wearing a white uniform, like a chef will do, on the contrary he was with this off white t- shirt showing off his tattoos. He walked back and forth from the kitchen to the front area

My wife and I took my stepdaughter and her friend to dinner here last night. Our food was excellent. We had the Roasted Garlic Appetizer. My Chicken Marsala was very tasty, however the chicken breast was slightly overcooked. My wife had the Shrimp Romeo. It was very good and the girls had Spaghetti & Meatballs which were very good. Only one complaint. Our waiter had too many tables (counted 8) for a Friday night shift. He was long in bringing our bar drinks and he had to be asked for bread and olive oil numerous times. Otherwise, we enjoyed the piano player and the atmosphere. We will be back!Pros + Good Food, Easy Parking, Good AtmosphereCons – Waiter had too many tables!! C’mon Managers!!

I love my Italian and especially enjoy Tuscany. This place reminds me of the little Enoteca?s around Lago de Como and Tuscany. Small homey with some simple delicious dishes and some more experimental dishes. The specials are a huge plus, every time fresh and always a new spin on things. I had a very, very nice cannelloni dish not made with pasta, rather with a very thin crisp crepe. The greatest is their wonderful sliced meat appetizers, salami (yeah I love that stuff and they have the best), special cheeses and dishes that are made with very fresh garden grown vegetables. If you want something light try the Caprese (best outside of Tuscany I ever had), with daily fresh made Mozzarella cheese and garden grow tomatoes. Some of the vegetables might not look picture perfect, but the taste my god. The wait staff is fantastic and adds to what makes Austin, Austin! The bar is an absolute plus and if you are going alone for dinner or lunch, there is always some nice people to chat over lunch
