Where is the Best Irish Pub in Nashville, Tennessee?

This is really about the Franklin location, but I imagine the review should suffice for the Nashville location as well (at least in regards to food and beer). This place has some of the best, reasonably-priced bar food I’ve had in a LONG time. The Reuben is delish, as are the chicken tenders, and the deep-fried cheese and sausage satays. I’ve yet to have bad food there. My only caveat is that the beer menu is typical at best. They have all the generic crap you can get at any bar (Guiness, Harp, Smithwicks), but nothing really great from the Island. There are so many beers that are much better than what they serve. I’d kill to get some Old Speckled Hen on tap (or even in a can) to go with my meal. Technically not Irish, but there are other beers on the menu that aren’t Irish either.I think if they expanded the foreign beer selection, I’d be there with greater frequency. As it is, I usually go to Boscos, just for the beer. But sometimes you really want a greasy Reuben and a great be

Someone should really just take this place out and put in another divey honkytonk. At least there’d be no illusions. This used to be a place I loved to go for soup and a salad on rainy days, but I swear I’ll never go again. Staff here is either decent or a BIG miss- if you could get any dirtier looks from one bartender it might be almost kitschy, but in my opinion he just has no business in food service. The food here is inconsitant- sometimes the token Newcastle Cheese Soup is thick and creamy, other times you can stand a spoon straight up in a lumpy mess. Now I’m not obsessive compulsive or anything, but none of the servers here wash their hands. There isn’t even a sink visible, however a giant tub of ‘antibacterial hand gel’ is sitting right on the bar- next to where they’re mixing drinks!?!?! I only noticed this the last time I went (and I mean the LAST time)- because it seemed everyone in the place was coughing and sneezing. I was utterly grossed out. Finally, the cheeseb

I had a wonderful evening at Mulligans!!! The service was superb, the food was ok for American food…..salt on the chips!!????….you folks call them “french fries”…we Brits call them “chips”. One day you Yanks will realise that salt on everything really isn’t good for you!! The music was brilliant but sadly Yanks dont know the words to the songs so there was no singing along. In the UK and Ireland this would have been the high point……….all singing along together!! Most Yanks have never even heard of Manchester so “Dirty Old Town” was lost on the audience……just as much as “Leaving of Liverpool” was and what this song means to so many Irish American descendants. The band played my request for the “Londonderry Air”…….”Danny Boy” to many… but the Yanks in the audience didnt have to respect to listen to the words of this wonderful song.A great place to eat and listen to and singalong with lovely music. “Wild Rover” is a classic Irish song…………….. I ho

When i stepped through the doors at Findley’s I felt that I have stepped into Ireland! Friendy service, great beer, and awesome irish favorites. I had the Flatbread and the Shepard’s Pie Highly recommed both. They had live music while I was there. EnyaFace kept the audience going with lively interaction and tons of laughter. Just a note, Findley’s no longer validates parking – Park in the OpryMills parking lot and walk along the wooded path, or you can pay the fee to self park, or valet. I highly recommend Findley’s Irish Pub!Pros + Ambience, service, selectionCons – Parking

On their daily dessert menu, you will almost always find apple, cherry, or blackberry “crunch.” The other regular item is “Hershey’s cake.” I have been told the cake isn’t anything spectacular, and I have been extremely disappointed with the blackberry crunch. To begin, the blackberry crunch has a prominent pineapple flavor (you cannot even taste the blackberries.) Secondly, the dessert is not very thick, meaning you get more vanilla ice cream than blackberry crunch. And last but not least, you may only see three to four small blackberries in the dessert total.Pros + Relaxed atmosphereCons – Food quality
