Where is the Best Irish Pub in Atlanta, Georgia?

I first came to this pub about 2 years ago… I enjoyed the fact that they had a great ambience… a fireplace, and a dark wood dining room/bar… the atmosphere is cozy but the food, I believe could be a bit more authentic for the cost of the meals. You can’t leave without spending at least 30-$40 and sometimes you feel like you’re being ignored. If you go and want a hearty meal, try the bangers and mash… or the shepards pie. Pros + nice ambience….Cons – slow service…

We have to call Fado’s an establishment, because it is much more than just an another Irish Pub. It has became one of the mainstay’s in the changing Buckhead Village. Singles are welcomed, families with children, or just anyone wanting a warm feeling of Ireland. All the best Irish/British Ales are on tap, as well as terrific bottle selection. Have a black/white ale. And then order the best Fish ‘N Chips, you will ever put in your mouth. The Irish Stew, is something to write home about also. Drop in for a unique Sunday Brunch. The rumor is, a second location is coming to Atlantic Station. We are waiting, until then, on to the Buckhead Village. Service is tops.Pros + Atlanta’s Top Irish Establishment! Irish Stew! Right-On Service!Cons – Parking Can Be Tight!

Fado’s make look the part, but the Harp feels it. The crowd is friendly, the service is friendly and usually good, and the live acoustic music is great. The food ain’t bad, either. Nice beer and ale selection, many on tap. On weekend nights it’s usually SRO. Unfortunately when it’s crowded, despite several interior changes, the acoustics make the place so loud you can’t hear the music, your friends, or yourself. Be sure to drop by when a real Irish bartender, Willy, is working.Pros + feels Irish, friendly place, beer & ale selectionCons – noisy

Had a great time while looking for a place to watch the Finals, the Braves game, AND live music WITH good food and brews. My friend was ordering Bass on tap, which ran out, so the bartender brought his next pick “on the house”. After Bass was re-tapped he then brought out one “on the house” as well all with a smile having us feel like one of his close friends. Chris Ricker played and was amazing, conversational, and interacted very well with the audience — laughing and playing everyone’s suggestions as well as some of his favorites. It wasn’t too crowded and I really felt like I got away from the whole trendy college scene. To think!?!? right in the middle of Va.Highlands and NOT trendy??? nice. This place is definitely going to be one of my new favorite hang outs.Pros + Food, Brew, Live Musicians
