Where is the Best Hotel Spa in Austin, Texas?
I bought a day pass with the intention of going to hang out at the pool, use the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cool dip. The hot tub and cool dip were not working at all. The sauna was great. The pool water did not look clean. And the steam room smelled of mildew. So 1 of the 5 of those amenities was clean and working. It was disappointing and I wouldn’t want others to continue paying for amenities that are not kept up. So if those amenities are important to you, call and ask if they are working before you go. Otherwise, The environment is pretty and the food is good.
Overall a nice facility. A good distance from Austin but great view of the lake. Hotel/Condominium. Restaurant on site was ok, pool and pool bar were closed during our visit. Very few restaurants near hotel, and most have very limited hours. The hotel and community seem more appropriate for an older, less demanding clientele. I would recommend this hotel to…
this is a nice place to go for a quick getaway…..it has quite a few amenities to offer on site…..the pool is great, very attractive and fun…..good for families as well as couples….only drawback was that food was mediocre at the bar and buffet restaurant…..rooms are very nice…..the resort itself is nicely removed in a very private and remote area……great customer service and friendly, helpful staff……i inquired with the front desk about how i could possibly purchase the shower gel provided in the rooms, as it smelled very nice…..and to my pleasant surprise, one of the receptionists gave me a bag full of at least 15-20 small travel size shower gels to go!!! and she still asked me if there was anything else i wanted!!!! excellent service, though rooms are priced on the higher end……but you definitely get what you pay for!!
