Where is the Best Hotel in Portland, Maine?
the hotel itself is not in the tourist distric by the waterfront, but not too far away, so if you have a car, driving is not going to be a hassle. hotel offers free parking. room when i stayed there was clean and service was acceptable. they do have those doubletree cookies at the check-in. prices were reasonable for a fairly simple hotel, and competitive comparing around Portland. i didn’t like it, nor did i hate it – it did not impress me as something that i would definitely seek out on my return trip to Portland, but i would stay there again if price is right.
