Where is the Best Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas?
There were definitely a few signs that we should have steered clear of this sad attempt at a hotel. The Bus Entrance sign was made up of two different signs. When we arrived in our room, the cable did not work on our television. The remote control was also barely operable. There were stains on the walls. The toilet was malfunctioning and ran water all night long. When my guest and I went to search for something that had rolled under the bed, we found all sorts of treasures; several spools of thread, wadded up pieces of paper, a spare coffee-pot, and just plain filth. The comforter on the bed had a large red stain. The bath tub would not drain properly, and the hotel provided no hair conditioner for their guests. The alarm had not been checked because it went off at 8:00 AM in the morning disrupting our sleep after a long day of driving. We stayed one night while traveling from Texas to Illinois. The room was spacious enough but housekeeping was terrible. There was hair in the tub, on the bathroom floor, in the beds and the toilet was filty. There was also “snot” on the walls. Upon check out, we complained to the front-desk clerk and he just stared and replied “ok”….
We were totally stressed from our move and Mrs. Martha’s was the answer to our prayers. We stayed for a week with every convenience we could ever need-full kitchen, large bathroom, two bedrooms, living room, washer and dryer, a small porch and a small deck. Martha and Tom are wonderful hosts-very patient and kind to us during a difficult time. We often took walks through the woods on the trail they had made, and would lay out in the hammock under the big shade trees. We would suggest Mrs. Martha’s to everyone; even small families would work well there (with Mrs. Martha’s permission, of course).Pros + Off the main road, secluded, clean, spacious, gracious hostsCons – No complaints
