1st the positives – Free parking garage, health club accessability Now the negatives – The bed was like sleeping on the sidewalk, the room was nice about 5 years ago- wall paper torn in the bathroom and hallways, the ice machine did not work on our floor, for a non smoking room it sure smelled a lot like someone had…

I spent the weekend at the Holiday Inn Express Northwest of Indianapolis, IN, and I have to say that this is one of THE NICEST Holiday Inn Expresses that I have ever stayed at!The hotel is fresh, and modern – apparently they just opened a few months ago. The Front Office staff was great – so friendly and helpful…it was refreshing to experience CUSTOMER SERVICE while visiting this hotel. The lady who hosted the free hot breakfast bar was wonderful…I witnessed her go above and beyond to assist an elderly woman with her breakfast – she actually escorted her to her room carrying her breakfast for her. You don’t see this kind of effort every day – and I was impressed. The experience I had here was definitely something to pass on, and I recommend that anyone visiting the Indianapolis area who is interested in a great hotel stay visit this hotel. Great value, great experience, great hotel!

The restaurant is located just east of the main entrance tunnel. Even though the motel is closed, the restaurant and the Flag Room bar are still open. I try to make it to the Brickyard Crossing restaurant about once a week for lunch. There’s always a table available and the service is usually pretty good and friendly. I’m a big fan of club sandwiches and they have one of the best ones I’ve had. Prices are reasonable and you can look out over the golf course. They have a Sunday brunch buffet that is great! This is also a great place to take out of town visitors.

The hotel is average looking inside, the showers are very slippery and no bath mats are…
