I had the opportunity to attend a wedding at the Morning Glory Inn on the South Side of Pittsburgh on Sunday, May 6th 2007 and what I and my fellow wedding guests witnessed can only be described as egregious hospitality from innkeepers and host, Nancy Eshelman. Upon arriving, my family and friends were thoroughly impressed with the inn?s quaint setting, intimate brick courtyard, and southern-hospitality appeal. Unfortunately for the guests, including the bride and groom, those good feelings were replaced in short order by discomfort, tension and blatant disrespect towards the guests, all of which were a direct result of Nancy Eshelman?s appalling and coarse behavior. The instances in which the guests were made to feel unwelcome and downright awkward should have had no place at a celebration of marriage. Sadly, examples of this reproachful behavior were plentiful.
