Where is the best *hot* holiday destination in september?

I know you said not the Canary Islands but we went to Toromolinos last year in October and it was the best holiday we had in years. The weather was fantastic and there was not a lot of tourists about. The stuff is so cheap there and the nightlife fantastic even at that time of year. The beaches were lovely.Nearly empty. Whole white beaches to ourselves. Was like heaven.
