Where is the Best Hookup Spot in Houston, Texas?
Aside from the great service and awesome atmosphere, this place has a very good looking, up-scale crowd! The promoters from Boca Ent brought me to scene the first time and I have gone back various times since then. There is a great variety of music from hip hop to house. Plenty of room to dance even though it greats pretty crowded. The last time i went we reserved a table at the VIP and the experience only reassured me of the great service and staff they have. It is definetely a place to check out if you have not yet been-I have been to many clubs in the area and this has become one of my favorites- highly recommend it!!
This is the place to be on the weekends and even during the week as well. The music is fantastic and it gets better and better as the night progresses….playing the hottest house and hip hop music then throwing out the old school mixes from back in the day. There are 2 dance floors…one that is higher up and lit up like Saturday Night Fever and there are mirrors on the back wall so you can watch yourself and others dance…there is also a lower dance floor that is right in front of the DJ booth that is always filled with a dancing crowd of people. If you are needing to have a party there is a VIP section that can be reserved and is guarded by security so that “unwanted guests” can’t just come into your area and ruin your party. There are sofas along the walls by the bar so that if you are needing a break from dancing…you have a confortable seat. This bar is part of the bigger chain of Sherlock Pub Company. It is my least favorite Sherlocks mostly because it is usually an older crowd (aka creepy old men…no offense). This is because it is displaced from the liveliness of the greater metro area. If you are younger, try out one of the other several locations. The bands are always good. They rotate between all of the spots. If I am meeting a friend in the area, I don’t mind stopping by for a few drinks. The drink specials are always good.
My first time downtown in a long time! I liked this place a lot and was surprised that i liked the crowd too. You never know what you’re gonna get downtown. Had a bit of a wait in line but it was worth it; the club is huge with plenty of seating, a great cover band and really good DJ playing! If you like beer, you like the flying saucer, there is no way around it. Boasting the largest selection of that beautiful beverage distilled from hops and barley, Flying Saucer is an adults candy store. All you have to do is gaze at the seemingly endless wall of taps behind the counter to know that you’ve arrived at your happy place, and that’s only what they have on tap, they stock a much, much larger selection in singles.Perfect for any casual occasion, you can come with a large group of friends after work, or even by yourself if you feel like unwinding and letting traffic cool down. I won’t even get into how splendid their beer selection is, because I would keep you all night reading, you have to go and sample it yourself.
