I love Foster’s for their funky products and reasonable prices. However, as someone who shops there consistently and makes consistent purchases, the customer service is much less than stellar. Without a doubt some of the employees who work there are some of the most sullen and un-helpful EMO people I have encountered, which ruins a lot of the atmosphere of such a great place. On more than one occasion, I have asked a question of the salespeople regarding a product and gotten a snippy response. I inquired about a table I liked and they told me it wasn’t for sale, said it was special order, and then turned and went back to chatting with the other employee – and wouldn’t offer me any more information on it. I asked to purchase the store display of an item since it was the last one and they made a big stink of repackaging it in the box for me (it was glass).
